Event - Year 1 at the Dance Festival

On Friday 20th April, Kinglsey College kindly invited 28 Year 1 children to attend a Dance Festival. The theme for the day was 'Musicals' and we were lucky enough to be in the session dedicated to 'Grease'.

When we first arrived the Kingsley students took us through a warm-up to make sure we were ready to dance. Then we split into two groups to learnt two of the dances from Grease. We also had time to add in some of our own ideas before performing to the other group.

We were really grateful to all of the student helpers who looked after us on the day, as well as the instructor. It was really good fun and we have never seen Miss Wells or Mrs Hood looking so red!
