Reception

Welcome to Reception!

We have great fun learning through play, following the Early Years Foundation Stage Curriculum. We love learning both indoors and outdoors. We have a fantastic outdoor area with a willow structure, water play and sand pit, as well as shady and sheltered areas. Inside we have a great art area for creative activities, a super construction area and two lovely classrooms.

We are very busy in Reception. We have Phonics and Maths lessons every day. In the Autumn term we have PE once a week, as well as going to Forest School.  We also enjoy squiggle whilst you wiggle and Dough Disco to work on our gross and fine motor skills.
