Event - Year 2 visit Offenham First School

30 June 2009

As part of an on-going project between Tenacres and Offenham First School in Evesham, Year 2 children spent the day with their pen pals.

The children from both schools have spent time over the last months learning all about each other through writing letters to one another.

In Geography lessons they have studied the localities of a town and a village of Redditch and Evesham.

The children had a fantastic day meeting each other and as you can see from the pictures. They even had a go at Maypole Dancing which they thoroughly enjoyed. They had a picnic with their pen pals and spent the lunch hour exploring the school grounds and playing games.

As you can see from the photographs it wasn't just the children that enjoyed meeting each other as Mrs Bacon our Lunchtime Lady enjoyed meeting and chatting to the Lunchtime Lady from Offenham.

The children are looking forward to Offenham School visiting us in the Autumn Term for an Art and Forest School day.
