Event - The Big Dance

18 May 2012

On Friday 18th May all the children and staff at Tenacres took part in the World Record event 'The Big Dance'. The dance was based on all the olympic sports and children have been working hard to learn the moves during this half term.

People all over the world took part at the allotted time of 1.00pm.

he event was overseen by two Governors who acted as independent observers and they verified the number of participants to send to the Guinness Book of Records judges. Everyone who participated received a certificate.

It was a very memorable and enjoyable whole school event and we hope we soon hear if the world record was achieved!

In the top left photo below you can see Mrs Duffy with Year 4. She co-ordinated the whole event at Tenacres. Thank you, Mrs Duffy!
