Event - Summer Fete

July 2008

The sun shone on our Annual Summer fete and the crowds turned out for a very enjoyable afternoon. The Parents' Association organised the event, which included a Barbecue, Bouncy castle, raffle, teddy tombola and a children's craft stall.

Mr Malcolm Hall, the Deputy Mayor of Redditch, officially opened the event. Mr Hall is a long-standing member of the Governing Body at Tenacres and has served as Chairman and Vice-Chair in the past.

The Parents Association raised over £1,000 on the day and will use the proceeds to buy extras for the children. In the past year this has included Pantomime and Theatre group performances in school, and Easter eggs and Christmas presents for all the children.
