Event - Year 1 Celebrate Thanksgiving

We had been learning all about the first Thanksgiving and how helpful the Native Americans had been. So on the actual date of Thanksgiving we made some peanut butter cookies and pumpkin cake and invited our families in to share it with us.
We acted out the story and sang them songs. We also designed and made floats for a Thanksgiving parade.
We all had a really lovely time sharing the cakes and, most importantly, what we are grateful and thankful for.
