Event - Year 4 Visit Worcester Cathedral

23 November 2012

Year 4 visited Worcester Cathedral today, Friday, 23rd November, 2012 as part of their learning about Christianity for RE. They had also been learning about monks and monasteries as part of their Tudor topic so were all excited about the visit.

Some children also remarked about the poppy wreaths outside Worcester Cathedral which they had learned about in a recent assembly.

Both 4P and 4D enjoyed their tours around the Cathedral, learning about signs and symbols used in the Christian religion. After that they were taught how to create and use their own prayer stones and finally they used drama to perform some of the symbols they had learned about.

Year 4 behaved superbly throughout the trip, as is normal for Tenacres pupils, and all agreed they had had a great day.
